Science experiments have always proved to be very beneficial for the kids to understand science and its amazing aspects. To perform this Hanging Water science experiment all you need is a glass, water and postcard. First of all take a glass and fill it with water till the water overflows. Now place a postcard over this glass and while holding this postcard turn it upside down. Slowly remove your hand from the postcard and you will be amazed to see that the postcard remains stuck on the glass without allowing the water to escape. This happens because when the postcard is pressed on the glass filled with water the air present outside the glass is not able to enter the glass due to which the water cannot flow out.

You might have observed that the Hanging Water science experiment is pretty simple to conduct and involves use of simple household materials that can be found at home. Children can try this science experiment at their home and show it to their friends or family members. They can even use this science experiment for their school science project.
